Winter Workout Challenge

Let's be realistic; most of us don't stick to a workout routine throughout the entire year. It's why January resolutions have gym memberships surging and #SummerBod starts trending in May. Which, by the way, a "summer bod" is ANY body.

It's no wonder that the winter months have us staying cozy indoors and becoming more sedentary than we should be. The allure of a fireplace (real or channel), a warm blanket, and a binge-worthy series is enough to convince you to skip going outside to get to your Pilates class. Why brave the weather when you can watch Bravo?

But what if we told you - nay - challenged you to a workout routine that you can do at home and get you through the chilliest winter months? It will take less than 10 minutes each day and all you need is a yoga mat. The first challenge starts the first day of November. Will you join us?

THE ULTIMATE WINTER CHALLENGE:

Warmup: 1-2 minutes of jumping jacks or high-knees before EACH exercise.

Month One (November) - The Push-Up Challenge
For the first month, you're going to focus on your arm strength with some planks trickled in to prepare you for the next month.

Month Two (December) - The Plank Challenge
Now that you've said, "Do you have your tickets?," more times than you care to admit, it's time to focus on your core. Don't worry if you start shaking during a plank, that means your body is working to get stronger!

Month Three (January) - The Burpee Challenge
Sorry, not sorry. You're going to do 100 burpees every single day for a month to get you across the finish line. Finding them too difficult, or dare we say, too easy? The link will provide you with some variations to make it work for you.

We don't promise it will be easy, but we promise it will be worth it!
